Bernardino Adame Lozano Jr. was born into this world January 9th, 1952 in Pasadena, Texas to Bernardino and Benita Lozano. He grew up in Pasadena, TX. He graduated from Pasadena High school in Pasadena, TX. Bernard was a veteran of the Vietnam War, joined the service and served his Country honorably. His bravery during the Vietnam War earned him a Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and National Defense Medal. He was honorably discharged December of 1973. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Army never left him, as friends and family will attest. Upon being discharge from the Army- he was employed by Lyondellbasell in La Porte and worked there from 1974 to January of 2012. He married Linda Flores February 23, 1974 in Pasadena, TX and settled in Deer Park, TX. Bernie, as his friends knew him, never met a stranger and was known for helping anyone he came in contact with. He was very close to his family & the family dog Maxie Pooh. He attended Calvary Chapel in Friendswood, TX and accepted the Lord as his Savior June of 2012. Bernard went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2012, in Deer Park, TX at home in peace with all his family and friends by his side after fighting a 7 month battle with liver cancer. Mr. Lozano is survived by his loving wife, Hermalinda Flores Lozano, two sons, Anthony Jake Lozano & Bernard Jason Lozano III and his Wife Michelle. He also leaves behind one grandson,” Bernard Jayden Lozano IV”, his sister, Anna Almendarez and husband Trinidad, brother, Phillip Lozano, his mother, Benita Lozano, mother in-law, Elena Flores, brother In-law, Martin Flores and wife Julie, sister In-law, Sonia Flores and husband Leon, and several nieces and nephews and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Bernardino Lozano Sr. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 6PM to 8PM at Grand View Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 10AM in the Chapel at Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
