Belinda Lara

Belinda Pena Lara, age 53, passed away in the early hours of February 28th after a year and a half courageous battle with leukemia surrounded by her Husband Rene Lara and three lovely children Sebastian Rene Lara: daughters Payton Rene Lara and Lauren Rene Lara. Belinda and Rene spent their entire adult lives sharing their love for each other and knew they both shared a love for family and decided to start their own. Belinda was the very definition of a great mother with the patience of a saint. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family and was always supportive and encouraging. She incorporated her kind temperament into motherhood that created an unbreakable bond with her children. Being good Christian adults was an important quality Belinda wanted to instill in her children and she was always very proud of them and happiest when her kids were with her.

Belinda had natural beauty and her genuine ladylike manners was always a refreshing break from current trends. Her calm demeanor and under stated conveying of confidence were constant reminders that she was a person of class and integrity. She was an adored wife with endless love to give in return. Her quiet strength through her difficult journey with out complaining was a testament to her Character. She was ever calm and serene even when her transition to Heaven was determined was Absolutely Amazing thing to witness.

Belinda is preceded in death by her parents Joe C Pena and Carmen R Pena. She is survived by her siblings Joey and Anna Marie Pena, Rene Pena, Jeremy and Irene Pena.

A visitation for Belinda will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
