Barbara Lynn Trncak

Barbara had an abundant zest for life, a vibrant smile, and was a beacon of joy to all she met. Everyone she came across was moved by her positive outlook, humor, and always left with a smile on their face.

She was deeply interested, genuinely cared, and was enriched by other’s lives and families. Barbara’s foundation was anchored in family, friends, her church family of 30 years, and serving as a SWA flight attendant for 38 years. Barbara had a true passion for spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and sunsets in the hill country. Her family and friends will deeply miss her kindness, her friendship, and her laughter.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband Stephen, daughter Taylor, son Todd and fiancé Katy, and brothers Robert Johannesen jr. and Terry Johannesen.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert F. and Margaret Johannesen of Arlington, Texas.

Celebratory funeral services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 at First Baptist Church, 7500 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, Texas . The services will begin with a visitation with the family from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, with the memorial service beginning at 1:00, followed by a graveside service at 2:00.
