Barbara Ann (Weeden) Haynes, affectionately known as "Barbrann" by her parents, peacefully departed from this world on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the age of 92. She passed away from natural causes at Paradise Creek Health nursing home in Moscow, Idaho, where she had resided since July 2019. Barbara's lifelong residence before moving to Moscow was in Houston, Texas.
Born on January 21, 1932, Barbara came into this world at her home in Houston, Texas, the cherished daughter of Earl and Gladys Weeden. She was surrounded by love from her brothers, Donald Weeden and Gerry Weeden.
Barbara was a dedicated lifelong member of the Church of Christ, finding solace and community in congregations including West End, Houston, South Houston, Parkview, and Deer Park.
Barbara is survived by her loving children: Pam Stevenson (married to Tom), Danny Haynes (married to Soozi), and Sam Haynes (married to Lisa). She was a proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Josh Stevenson, Hannah Wolff, Nathan Stevenson, Jericho Heid, Caleb Stevenson, Gabriel Stevenson, Ethan Stevenson, Seth Stevenson, Noah Haynes, Kristen White, Derek Haynes, and Kyle Haynes. Barbara was also blessed with thirty-seven great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Gladys Weeden, her brother Gerry Weeden, her nephew Jason Weeden, her niece Stacy Cahak, and her great-granddaughter, Forget-Me-Not.
A visitation for Barbara will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:55 PM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. A celebration of her life will occur on the same day at 11:00 AM at the same location. Following the celebration, a committal service will take place at 12:00 PM at Grand View Memorial Park, 8516 Spencer Hwy, Deer Park, TX 77536.
Barbara's life was a testament to love, faith, and family. Her memory will be forever cherished by all who were touched by her kindness and generosity.
May Barbara Ann (Weeden) Haynes rest in eternal peace, knowing that her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.
