Angelica Garcia Nava, 86 of Pasadena, Texas, passed away in Pasadena, Texas on April 25, 2019. She was born in Elsa, Texas on October 1, 1932. She was widowed for 36 years and dedicated her time to her family. Angelica retired from Bayshore Hospital devoting 23 years assisting and encouraging those around her.
She had a passion for her family who she would do anything for; puzzles – which she found it to be great fuel for the brain; crime shows – that she always seemed to solve before the show finished; gambling – which was the highlight of her evening when she ‘d go to the casinos; and life – that she lived to the fullest.
Angelica was preceded in death by her parents, Fidel and Tomasa Garcia; brothers, Robert and Fidel Garcia; sisters, Amelia Garcia, Mary Rivas and Elvira Alderete; and her great grandsons, Stevan and Michael Rojas.
Angelica is survived by her sons, Manuel Rodriguez and his spouse Rose, Esiquel Nava, Ruben Nava, Danny Nava and his partner Scott; daughters, Janie Wiggs and her spouse Michael, Mary Helen Rojas and her spouse Frank, JoAnn Rodriguez and her spouse Angel and Esmeralda Garcia. Along with 15 grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
She will be always be missed but never forgotten.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home in the chapel.
