Angela Eileen Amador, 82, went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2023. She was born on December 15, 1940 to Jose and Aurelia Cisneros in Huntington Park, California. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Cindy Gobea; sister, Dora Vaughn and brothers Eddie, Louie, Manuel, Joe, and Danny Cisneros.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children Michael Amador Jr., Christina Amador, Laura Garcia and Lisa Calistro and husband Mike Vela, along with her 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and her brother, Richard Cisneros.
Angela loved playing cards, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful storyteller, and she always took the opportunity to raise the mood in the room with her wit and sense of humor.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, August 3, 2023, and the funeral service will be at 10:00am Friday, August 4, 2023, all held at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena.
Serving as pallbearers are Cris Garcia, Angel Melo, Xavier Vargas, Anthony Galvan, Patrick Montoya, Rogelio Garcia and Clayton Amador.
