Andreas Gavrilis passed away January 29, 2021. Andreas was born on December 9, 1939 in Kefalonia Lixoui, Greece, and was 81 years old at time of his death. He served in the Greek Navy for two years and worked for Pasadena Independent School District for 38 years. Andreas was preceded in death by his father Bobby Gavrilis and his mother Mathina Kozeveros Gavrilis. Andreas leaves behind his wife Vivian Cortez Gavrilis of 55 years, sons Bobby Gavrilis with wife Kimberly Gavrilis, Nick Gavrilis, George Gavrilis, granddaughter Jordan Gavrilis, step grandson Christopher Upshaw and his brother Jerry Gavrilis. Andreas has a numerous amount of nieces and nephews and other family members that he loved and they were very special to him. He will always be loved and missed by all. He was a great man and friend to all who knew him. The family wishes to share our appreciation to the many family members and friends for their expressions of sympathy, prayers and acts of kindness during this time of sudden sorrow.
