Alvaro was a certified welder for 40 years, and worked for Mundy Co. for 26 years. He married Josie Cadriel on July 6, 1962 in Portland, Texas. Alvaro was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista of Pasadena, where he became a deacon in 1982. Alvaro was also a Sunday school director, adult teacher, youth director, and financial director.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Josie; four children, Amelia Rendon and her husband David, Amada Trevino, Alvaro Trevino Jr., and Adriana Craft; seven grandchildren, Melissa Mora, Vanessa Santana, Briana Haney, Erika Trevino, Sammy Rodriguez, Alyssa Craft, and Nathaniel Trevino; five great grandchildren, Malachi Cortes, Julian Mora, Jacob Cortes, Roman Mora, and Jeremiah Santana; siblings, Reyes Hernandez, Juanita Jimenez, Robert Trevino, Hector Trevino, Jose Trevino and his wife Gracie, and Ramona Trevino.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 10:00 am at Grand View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Grand View Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas.
