Alice Moore

She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and enjoyed being very active in the church activities; she volunteered at the resale shop; a member of Daughters of the King; and she enjoyed joining local pageants, she was Ms. Sr. Pasadena in 2019, runner-up in 2018 and Ms. Congeniality in 2017. One of her favorite pastimes was reading and always had a book to read. She also loved helping her friends, she would drive them to their appointments or wherever they needed to go.

She is survived by her children, Leslie Maylum, III and wife, Sharon; Mark Maylum; David Maylum and Phylip Maylum and wife, Stacy along with 29 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and her brother Clarence Riggs Jr.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Russell who passed in 2009; her sons, Eric Maylum, Gary Maylum and Gregory Maylum; her parents; and 3 sisters, Ruth Ann Janson, Mary Clark and Caroline Rhodes.

Memorial services will be held 11:00am, Friday March 25, 2022 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. She will be laid to rest at a later date.
