Raymond Vincent Kretchmar

Surrounded by his loving family, friends, both human and furry, in his last moments, Ray was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment living life and spending time with his loved ones.

A military man, his passion for cycling, building, and flying radio-controlled model airplanes and sailing model boats together with his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered. Ray was also well known for his Churchill impersonation.

Ray was predeceased by his son, Kris, and survived by his daughter, Sharon (David), daughter-in-law, Bonnie (Kris). Grandsons, Ansley (Christeena), Nathan, Ryan (Shawna and daughter Amy) and Eric (Kristen), Great Grandsons, Bentley and Cyrus, and dear friend, Dawn. Members of the Cameron clan were also considered family by Ray.

Together we will continue to honour Ray’s legacy by living our lives to the fullest.

A memorial service will be held at The Bowser Legion on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for those who would like to attend.
