Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Operation Desert Storm. He held different jobs throughout his life, primarily in trucking and athletic field construction. He loved to share his knowledge with all, especially his two daughters. He had a large impact on all who knew him, living in the moment, imparting wisdom and honesty, and keeping in contact with friends and family from all over.
Surviving Bill are his mother, Carolyn; brother Ron, Jr., Bob, and Mike; sisters-in-law Shawna and Loretta; daughters Carrie Fischer [Ben] and Brittany Morgan [Andrew] and their mothers Cindy Gregorich and Terry Winans. He is also survived by a large circle of friends from NY, FL, and the Mid-Ohio Valley.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald E. Winans, Sr.
A memorial is being planned in Parkersburg for March. A second memorial is planned in Daytona Beach in July for his 55th birthday celebration.
