He was born April 30th, 1942 in Harmony, WV, a son to the late Benjamin Fields and Elva (Hershman) Fields.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Fields, four daughters Dana Tucker, Dina Young, Neasha Workman and Teresa Maurath. William also leaves behind five brothers; Charles, Jim, Roger, Roy, and Lowell Fields. He is survived by eight sisters; Ruth Rhodes, Joyce Evans, Hazel Pannkuk, Barbara Shaffer, Carolyn Myers, Ruby Anderson, Bonnie Payne, and Daisy Martinez. William leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Virginia Dare Fields and Helen Fields.
Service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Hopkins officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Friday.
