Shawn Paul Shaffer, 45, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away February 4, 2019, in Camden Clark Medical Center, following a brief illness.
He was born June 24, 1973, in Spencer, WV, a son of William H. and Bonnie L. (Moore) Shaffer. He was preceded in death by his step-brother, James Tomsick and paternal grandmother Thelma Woods.
Shawn was an auto mechanic and formerly worked for Sunset Memory Gardens. He enjoyed working on his trucks and fishing.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his companion of 13 years, Nina McMurray; step-children Brian and Monica McMurray; siblings Mellissa Shaffer and her fiancé Denzel “Keith” Champ, Barbrina Shaffer Peters and her husband Christopher and Katrina Stevens.
Per his request, there will be no public services.
