Robert Leroy Ellis

He was born Feb. 1, 1936, in Des Moines, IA a son to the late Glen Ellis and Bertha June Clark. He was awarded Eagle Scout in 1952, and a veteran of the Army National Guard, following his service he worked and retired from Kaiser-Belpre Plant.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step father Ed Russel.

He is survived by his son, Robert G. Ellis (Pamela) of Belleville, daughters, Susan D. Combs (Ed) of Michigan, Judy A. Blatt (Pete) of Belleville, and Sandra K. Riel (Mark) of Waverly, grandchildren, Robert D. Hitchcock III (Robbi), Ginger L. Gardner (Doc), Brandy N. Clift (Josh), Amanda L. Wayne (Andy), Robert D. Ellis (Holly), Linda S. Grady (Eric), 17 Great Grandchildren, sister, Katherine I. Wigal of Parkersburg, half-brother, Gary, and half sisters, Linda, and Karen.

A memorial service will be Sunday, March 17, 2013, 1 pm, at the Sunset Memory Gardens Chapel of Peace. Inurnment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
