Richard Burhl Garrison

He was born on May 8, 1933 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Harry and Memmie Garrison.

Richard was a member of the Stouts United Methodist Church, he worked at Dupont for 36 years and retired in 1992. He also served his country in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Jeff Garrison of Walker, WV, stepsons, Dale Cornell of Waverly ,WV, Andy Cornell of Belpre, OH and stepdaughter, Deborah Schneeberger of Belpre, OH, grandchildren, Jodi, Jarred, Zarek, Emma, and step grandchildren plus 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife Roanna, his wife Dorothy; daughter, Teresa Garrison Maxson and three brothers; and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with funerals services being held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11 am. Burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
