Retta E. Buchanan

Born January 13, 1920 to John W. and Verla Buckley, Bunny passed away at Worthington Manor Care Center on November 17, 2013 at age 93.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hollie Lee “Buck” Buchanan, son, James W. Buchanan, Sr.and daughter in law Cathy Buchanan, grandson, Spencer Wayne Buchanan and great grandsons, Sean Michael Buchanan and Jack Nicklaus Ellis, 3 sisters, Delphia Wine, Gretta Buckley and Lena Farnsworth, 3 brothers, Roy, Weldon and Harlan Buckley.

She is survived by her son, Robert Buchanan Sr. (Nancy) of Vienna, and daughter, Kay Wilson (Dan) of Grove City, OH, grandchildren, Robert Buchanan Jr., Hollie Buchanan II, Becki Wells (Larry), James Buchanan Jr. (Michelle), Kelly Ellis (Jason), Scott Wilson (Rachel), Sheri Fox, Alex Buchanan (Tabitha), Randy Buchanan (Heather), and Daniel Buchanan, 18 great grandchildren, along with several special nieces and nephews, special friends and care givers at Worthington Manor.

Service will be Thurs., Nov. 21, 2013, 1:00 pm, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Herb Lenox officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Wed., Nov. 20, 2013, from 5-8 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thur.
