Raymond “Red” Dustin Enoch, 68, of Vincent, OH, formerly of Parkersburg, WV, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 in Columbus, OH.
He was born November 24, 1942 son of the late Dustin and Mattie Enoch. He graduated from Wirt County High School in 1961, was a member and treasurer of the Future Farmers of America, class Sergeant at Arms, and on the football team. For several years he worked for both Matheny Motors and the Ames plant.
“Red” enjoyed bowling and won several trophies while he was a long-time league member. He loved gardening, hunting, watching football, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Michele Enoch and her boyfriend Rob, both of Vienna; his son, Ray Enoch and his wife Jamie; three grandchildren, Slade, Devin, and Sadie, all of Vienna; and one brother, Richard Enoch.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years, Marjorie Enoch; and his sister, Evelyn Boggs.
Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
