Patsy M. Lucas Smith

She was born on August 1, 1939 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Raymond S. and Mary L. Norman Lucas. She attended the 14th Avenue Gospel Mission. Patsy enjoyed bowling, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Haymond D. Smith; seven sons, David Hoyt of Grafton, OH, Daniel Hoyt of Parkersburg, Tony Hoyt of Wellington, OH, Rodney Hoyt of Elyria, OH, Perry Smith of LaGrange, OH, Harland Smith, of Elyria, OH, and Harold Smith of Grafton, OH; one daughter, Teresa Archer of Rockport, WV; one brother, Michael Lucas of Parkersburg; three sisters, Joyce Bowling of Sandyville, WV, Deloris Jean Broadwater of Pennsboro, WV, and Shawna Louise Drake of Parkersburg; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Vicky Lynn Hoyt, and one brother, Jan Lucas.

Services will be held 3:00pm Monday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Everett Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11:00am -3:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
