She was born November 17, 1941 in Barberton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl Allen and Louise McPeek Allen.
Mary was a Baptist my faith, attending Christ Mission Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and took excellent care of her home and her family. She enjoyed painting, traveling, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Douglas (Susan McCloud) Collins; daughter, Dee (Phillip) Dulaney; grandchildren, Carrie (Mike) Bowers, Adam (Beth Owens) Collins, Dawn (Chris) Johnson, Craig (Casey) Dulaney; and 8 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, CR “Hap” Collins and both brothers, Mac and Neal Allen.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday April 10, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Mark Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens at a later date. Visitation will be 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. on Tuesday April 9, 2024 at the funeral home.
