Mary Elizabeth Barnes

Mary was born September 24, 1932 in Clarksburg, WV to James Boyd and India Ellen {Barker} Chipps.

She was a homemaker and liked to refurbish furniture, decorate Ostrich eggs,

made Mary’s Santa’s Antiques and collected many Indian Artifacts along the riverbank in Ohio.

Mary will be deeply missed by her daughters; Sherri Pepper of Millwood, WV and Becky Renfrow, granddaughter; Lori Schultz and great grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Alyssa Harper.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband James, son; James Monroe Barnes, brother; Cecil Chipps, sisters; Dorothy Welch, Bertha Riffle and Geraldine Burd and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be May 17, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Williamson officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
