M. Evelyn Roberts

She was born February 4, 1938, in Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, a daughter to the late Wesley and Vina (Marks) Harris.

Evelyn retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital, after 35 years of service. She enjoyed canning, sewing, cooking and baking for family and friends, and vacationing with her family.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Cliff (Melissa) Roberts, of Orrville, OH, Larry Roberts, of Parkersburg, WV, and Jerry (Jennifer) Roberts, of Johnson City, TN; daughter, Cheryl (Josh) Somervill, of Parkersburg, WV; brother, Chester Harris, of Jellico, TN; sisters, Hester Brandt, of Jacksonsville, FL, and Ruth Parsons, of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Jonathan, Wyatt, Craig, Ashley, Austin, and Teah; and great-grandchildren, Adeline, Magnolia, Julianne, and Colton.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Oral E. Roberts; two brothers, Don and Carl; two sisters, Juanita and Geraldine; and one grandson, Austin.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens
