He was born November 19, 1950 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Lewis Baldwin and Alberta Kinney Baldwin.
Lewis retired from Ames Factory as a general supervisor after many years of service. He was a very devoted and hardworking man. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do or fix and was not afraid to take on any job. He enjoyed listening to classic country music and played the banjo and the guitar. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. His legacy of love, hard work, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who had the honor of sharing in his life's journey.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his sons, Matthew (Janie) Baldwin of Davisville, WV, Josh (Tamra) Baldwin of Washington, WV; brother, William (Phyllis) Baldwin of Belleville, WV; sister, Jo. Ann (Robert) Baker of Parkersburg, WV; grandchildren, Elizabeth Baldwin, Sarah Baldwin, Cierra Miller, Joshua Baldwin Jr., Charlie Baldwin; great-granddaughter, Violet Strode.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Pamela Baldwin.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday July 20, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home.
