Janet S Allen

She was born April 8, 1946, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, a daughter to the late Paul and Roxie Townsend Eckhart.

Janet was a former cosmetologist/beauty advisor at Lee’s Studio. She enjoyed watching dirt track and Nascar racing, and cheering on her Steelers.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kelli Wilson (Allen), of Fort Myers, FL, Stacey Hart (Jay), of Parkersburg, WV, and Heather Allen (Patrick), of Washington, WV; brother, David Eckhart (Amy), of Rochester, NY; sister, Barb Amos, of Vienna, WV; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Dick; brother-in-law, Jeff Amos; grandchildren, Austin Hart and Mariah Allen; and best friend, Sue Dye.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m., with entombment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
