Harold Elbert Anderson

Harold E. (Andy) Anderson passed away July 14, 2015, at the age 81. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Nora Bennett Anderson; father of Scott Anderson (Karen), Rona Anderson Laws (Marty), and Monica Anderson; grandfather of Bobby, Brandon and Andy Miller; Kaitlin Anderson; Matthew, Travis (deceased), and Patrick Donahue; and Ryan Anderson. Brother of James Anderson (deceased), Lorene Mueller, Earl Anderson, Paul Anderson, Howard Anderson, Edgar Anderson (deceased), Hazel Crawford, Dale Anderson and Ray Anderson; son of the late Fulton and Hazel Anderson. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

He was a member of Tri-County Worship Center Church. A native of Liverpool, WV, Harold was a 50- year employee of Corning Glass in Parkersburg, WV, where he worked as a master electrician. During the Korean War, he served in the US Navy on the USS Tarawa from 1950-1954. He will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to the memorial visitation at the Tri-County Worship Center, 9886 Slate Creek Rd., Rockport, WV 26169 on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at 3 pm. A Memorial Service will follow. Private interment for the family will take place at Sunset Memory Gardens. Sunset Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time.
