He was born June 6, 1928, in Grafton, WV, a son of the late Roscoe and Alley Wine Riffle.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Theobald Riffle; one son Darrell Riffle and his, wife, April, of Walker; one brother, Carl Riffle (Wilma) of Canton, OH; two sisters, Delores Dolak (Raymond) of Canton, OH, and Margaret Stone (Paul) of Vienna, WV; and a large, loving extended family.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
