She was born July 4, 1954, in Parkersburg, to the late Bill and Dorcas Lockhart Casto. Debbie graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1972 and retired from the West Virginia Division of Highways in 2019 after 46 years of service, most recently as the District Human Resources Manager.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years Daniel Farnsworth; daughter Amy (Ryan) Wenmoth and
grandchildren Connor and Alex of Washington; son Adam (Kerry) Farnsworth and grandchildren Jonah and JoyAnna of Belpre; brother Jim (Diane) Casto of Myrtle Beach, SC; and numerous loving, cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families.
Debbie was patient, loving, and hard-working. Although she worked a full-time job, she could always be found helping her husband in their archery shop, Boone's Bow Shop. She took pride in caring for her family by cooking meals, planning holidays and birthdays, and supporting her children in all their endeavors. Her four grandchildren were the light of her life and she enjoyed playing with them outside, watching their sports games, and attending school programs. Debbie loved animals and had many cats and dogs over the years. During her illness Debbie enjoyed and was grateful for the company, love, and care of her sister-in-law Debbie McNabb.
