Carolyn S Edwards

Carolyn was born September 6, 1941 in Parkersburg to R. L. and Aneth {Lemley} Sellers.

Carolyn worked for the Wood County Board of Education as a Nursing Instructor for 26 years and retired in 2002. She was a long time member of Fairlawn Baptist Church and a Volunteer for the Red Cross. Carolyn was also an accomplished seamstress.

Carolyn will be deeply missed by son, Scott (Sheila) Edwards of Kennewick, WA, daughter, Beth Edwards of Sacramento, CA, grandchildren, Cameron Scott Eavenson Edwards and William Garrett Eavenson Edwards, sisters, Alita (Charles) Rote of Parkersburg, WV, Jan (Arthur) Kinder of Coshocton, OH, and several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry, of 50 years, and brothers, Leonard and Russell Sellers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will follow Visitation at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Private Graveside Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. for the family at Sunset Memory Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.sunsetparkersburg.com.
