Beverly was a Methodist by faith, attending the Bethel AME Church. She retired as a nurse's aide after some 30+ years. Mom enjoyed the simple things in life such as playing BINGO and was often lucky at winning. She also enjoyed working word search puzzles, watching TV and playing cards. Mom was a great cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. What mom loved most though was spending time and laughter with her family. Mom ALWAYS had room in her heart for everyone, she touched so many people's lives by her kindness.
Even though mom was never diagnosed with OCD (LOL) she was particularly excited about doing laundry and cleaning her home.
If anyone knows our Mom she LOVED chicken all the way down to the gristle and bone. We used to laugh because it was like watching a kid enjoy a fun day at the park the way she would bite into that chicken and clean that bone!
No matter how old we were as her children, Mom always made us feel as though we were still her babies...that was her loving way of continuing to nurture and care for us all.
We will always love you Mom for being one of the best that anyone could wish for. We will miss you dearly.
