She was born February 20, 1928 in Palestine, WV a daughter of the late Ray Grady and Frankie Lee Ball.
Betty was a devoted Christian, attending Evangelical Methodist Church. She had many jobs in her lifetime, from the singer sewing machine store, to home health, but her favorite job was making draperies for Sears. No matter the profession, her love and heart were shared. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Her favorite thing to do, however, was to take care of her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will long be remembered by those she so dearly loved.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her three daughters, Aster Wyer, Donna Poling, Antha Kearns; sister, Rebecca Goodnight; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Lott; step-sister, Augusta Zehm; step -brothers, Donald Patterson and James Franklin Patterson.
Funeral services will be 11. A.M. Tuesday April 15, 2025 at The Chapel of Peace Mausoleum in Sunset Memory Gardens with Chaplin Eric Neilson officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in The Chapel of Peace.
