She was born October 9, 1964 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of late Glen McCord and Doris Clegg McCord.
Anita worked many years in the service industry as a Banquet Lead and a Housekeeper. She loved gardening. She always enjoyed tending to her garden and to her plants and flowers. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother who always put her family first. She will be forever missed.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughters, Amanda (Kevin) Kimble of Belpre, OH, Lisa McCord of Parkersburg, WV, Julia (Eric) Lee of Parkersburg, WV; brothers, Dan McCord of Parkersburg, WV, Mike McCord of Belleville, WV; sister, Kay (Sal) Piscitelli of Delaware, and eight grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John McCord.
A public visitation will be held Thursday August 15, 2024 from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
