Katrina Gayle “Norris” Fontenot, age 41, was called home early by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and passed away and went to heaven on June 18, 2021 in Thermal, California. Katrina was born on December 13, 1979 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona to her parents Kerry and Gayle Norris, who lived in Parker, Arizona. She was raised in Parker. She was affectionately called Trina, beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and wife. Trina was known by friends and family for her sweet spirit and nearly always having a smile on her face. She loved Winnie the Pooh and was an avid Phoenix Suns fan. Katrina graduated from Parker High School in 1998. After graduation she decided to move to Phoenix. She married her husband Joseph Fontenot Jr. whom she dearly loved on August 22, 2003. Joe had a large family already including his children and grandchildren. Katrina was joyful and enthusiastic to become a part of this union and share her love with all.
Katrina is survived by her parents Kerry and Rox Norris and Gayle and Charles Miller of Parker, Arizona. She is also survived by her sisters. This includes Kim Oliveros and her husband John of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It also includes Kristin Norris, Kari Martinez, Amanda Gnau, and Susie Eddy of Parker, Arizona. She has several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
We will be holding a Celebration of Life for Katrina on August 7, 2021 at Grace Assembly of God church in Parker, Arizona. It is located at 1821 S Navajo Ave. It will begin at 11 a.m. and will be followed with food and refreshments.
