I served with George at our first duty station with Charlie Co 2nd Platoon 3/47th Infantry at Fort Lewis, Washington.  He was a good soldier and a good friend. After his injury, he asked me to drive his lime green Roadrunner to his home in Parker, where I am sure I met family members, but do not recall for sure. I just found out about his passing today.  I’m sending my condolences and prayers to the family because I’m sure he is missed. He was a good friend.
