Cynthia "Cindy" Louise Collett of Oakdale, Minnesota and Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away peacefully on the 13th of March 2020 at the Polidori House under the care of Hospice of Havasu in Lake Havasu City surrounded by her loving family.
Cindy was born on January 28th, 1957 in St. Paul , Minnesota. She was the daughter of Robert and Corinne Wright and grew up in the Midway section of St. Paul. She attended St. Mark's Grade School and St. Agnes High School. Cindy married Craig Collett on October 17th, 1987. Cindy was employed her entire career at the Small Business Administration of the U.S. Federal Government where she enjoyed working with people and developed life long friendships with her colleagues. She retired in August of 2014 after her second round of surgery to remove a brain tumor.
Cindy was always full of joy and treasured her time spent with family and friends. Countless weekends at the cabin and other gatherings where she was one of the card sharks of the family. Her latest love was residing in Arizona where the blue skies and clear waters of Lake Havasu mesmerized her.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of over 32 years, Craig; brother Mike Wright and his wife Mary of Lipscomb, Texas; sister Betsy Wiggins of St. Paul, Minnesota; sister Theresa Cartier and her husband Bruce of Apple Valley, Minnesota; brother in law Ron Collett of Lake Havasu City; sister in law Judy Birk and her husband Jim of Lake Havasu City; sister in law Linda Serum and her husband Jerry of Plum City, Wisconsin and many nieces and nephews that she treasured. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, brother in law Doug Wiggins, sister in law Jane Collett and special niece Sara Fedie.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be planned for a later date in the spring. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
