Bill enlisted in the United States Navy on January 3, 1966, and discharged on Oct 15, 1969. Bill was very proud and yet tortured by his military service. Bill was never allowed to talk about his time in the military. He flew over 100 missions in North Vietnam and received the Air Metal from President Lyndon Johnson. Bill couldn’t talk about his service time as he was known as a Spook or as we know today he was a spy.
Bill married Kathy Harms on April 3, 1970. Bill and Kathy have 2 children, Chad and Kim.
Bill moved his family 21 times during his working career. Bill retired from Mobil Oil. He also worked several jobs after retirement.
Upon retirement Bill and Kathy have spent most of their time helping veterans and Special Needs Kids.
