Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21st at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Reger and Rev. Allan Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Exum, the daughter of Howard M. “John” Scott & Loletta Goff Scott, was born Dec. 11, 1942, in Paris, TX.
She attended grade school in Reno and graduated from Paris High School. Sharon worked five years at Westinghouse and then began working at the family business, Exum Plumbing, where she was the “Voice of Exum Plumbing” until her retirement. Sharon always maintained an immaculate yard and took great pride in its appearance.
She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for 79 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Kimberly Exum, and a sister, Delena Burrow & husband Marion.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years and 11 months, Johnny Exum, a daughter, Deidra House & husband Mark, a son, Johnny Lee Exum, grandsons, Dax Jallo & fiancé Katee and Justin Exum, a granddaughter, Jessi Exum and six great grandchildren along with a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Dax Jallo, Justin Exum, Jerry Springer, Louis Prihoda, Dewayne “Bubba” Ray, and Archie Sims.
