Polly Ann (Herron) Bell, 87, of Emory, formerly of Blossom, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at her home. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 5th at Knights of Honor Cemetery with Brad Weddle officiating. Mrs. Bell, the daughter of Riley C. Herron & Winnie Finch Herron, was born May 17, 1937, in Blossom, TX. Polly graduated from Blossom High School in 1955. She enjoyed playing basketball on the school team, was also sweetheart of the team, a cheerleader, and sang in the school choir. Polly was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Stephen C. & Alice Herron, sisters, Florine Herron Harris, Alma Net Herron Morris, and Opal Herron Miears, brothers, Horris Herron and Mack Herron, and a special nephew, Jim Bob Young. Polly is survived by her husband, Dillard Bell, son Jon Young, Jr. (Janice), grandson, Jon Young III, great grandson, Logan Young (Autumn), special niece, Loretta Weddle, sister-in-law, Oberia Herron along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
