Melissa Duncanson Grimes, 62, of Paris, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022. A celebration of her life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Melissa, the daughter of James Lincoln Duncanson and Dorothy L. Duncanson, was born May 15, 1960, in Paris, France. She was brought up in the Methodist Church. While living in Dallas she worked in accounting. Melissa enjoyed BINGO. Survivors include a brother, David Duncanson, children, Daniel Grimes & wife Jayna, Alan Lunsford & wife Christina, Misty Lunsford, Celina Grimes, and Jamie Lunsford, grandchildren, Ashley, Megan, Riley, Nick, Samantha, Alex, Aiden, Gunner, and Graysen along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
