Mary Nell Coker, 83, of Reno, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, at her home. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 16th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Fortenberry & Erik Roddy officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Honor Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Coker, the daughter of Doyle & Flossie Robinson Eley, was born Sept. 26, 1931, in Floyd, TX. She married Bazzle B. Coker on Sept. 3, 1954, in Floyd, building forty-eight years of family and memories before his death on Oct. 21, 2002. She was active in the after school program at Blossom for a number of years. Mary participated in the Women’s Bible Study in Blossom. She was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of East Paris Baptist Church. Her husband preceded her in death as did a granddaughter, Ashlee Roddy and a brother, Homer Eley. Survivors include a son, Joe Coker & wife Pamela of Forney, a daughter, Carol Roddy & husband Mike of Blossom, grandchildren, Erik Roddy & wife Cheryl of Paris, Lucas Roddy & wife Kortnie of Blossom, Jessica Smith & husband Herbert of Reno and Sara Coker of Fayetteville, AR, great grandchildren, Hayley Keaton, Evan, Nathan & Ryan Roddy, Shanlee & Rudd Roddy, a sister, Dorothy Coleman of Caddo Mills, a sister-in-law, Flora Willbourn of Paris, special friends, Jane Roddy, Opal Penny, Margie Scott, Kathryn Parker & Martha Carcuffe along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends. Casket bearers will be: Erik Roddy, Lucas Roddy, Herbert Smith, Tommy Harris, D. Wright and Ronald Roddy.
