Lesa Margaret Hill, 68, of Reno, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, at William Clements University Hospital in Dallas, just one day before her tenth anniversary of having her lung transplant on March 23, 2015, at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. The family would like to pay special tribute to the wonderful team of doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, and her donor who enabled her to have ten extra years of making memories with her family.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25th at the Evergreen Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Billy Norris officiating.
Lesa, the daughter of Bobby Dean Massey and Helen Kidd Massey, was born Sept. 4, 1956, in Clarksville, TX.
She attended Southside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Dean Massey, her grandparents, Joe & Margaret Kidd and Leonard & Lillie Massey, a brother, Joe Lynn Massey, and a nephew, Jesse Cole Guest.
Survivors include her children, Blakely (Kevin) Armstrong, Amy (Gary) Brown, Zac (Katie) Hill, and their father, Ronny Hill. Grandchildren, Cozy (Casey), Sarah, Henry (Makayla), Alexandra, Emma, Shane, Abby, Josie, and Weston. Great grandchildren, Theodore and Colette. Her mother, Helen Chandler, sisters, Tana (Lindy) Guest and Janice (Dennis) Martin, step-brother, Tim (Tori) Little, three special aunts, Edith Brawner, Jo Gordon, and Roberta Puckett, her nephews, a niece, numerous cousins and family that each held a special place in her heart.
Casket bearers will be: Chad Martin, Erric Martin, Aaron Dale Martin, Cody Guest, Clay Sikes, and Henry Brown.
