Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Cory Jones officiating along with Michael Scott serving as eulogist. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Scott, the daughter of Henry Donham & Josie Vick Donham, was born March 13, 1937, in Roxton, TX. She graduated from Roxton High School. She worked at Haggar Slacks in Greenville for several years before returning to Paris to work at Hollywood Vasarette. She co-founded Scott’s Janitorial Services with her husband, Harold. The family business continues to grow and is still owned by Marty. Lena was a loving housewife, mother, and grandmother. Along with her son, Marty and his family, she attended Christian Fellowship-Paris. Her son, Michael and his family are members of Lakepointe Church in Rockwall. Lakepointe served as Mrs. Scott’s second church family as she was also very active there. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wayne Scott, whom she married on Oct. 17, 1963, building 54 years of family and memories before his death on July 4, 2018. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Thomas Donham, and a sister, Erma Lee Donham. Survivors include two sons, Michael Scott & wife Marlo and Marty Scott & wife Holly, grandchildren, Mallory Scott, Kimberlyn Scott, Kameron Scott, and Christopher Scott, one brother, Troy Donham, and one sister, Louise Stotts, along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
