Joe Ben Coston

Joe Ben Coston, 79, of Paris, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016, at his home. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug 23rd, at the Coston Family Cemetery located at 1864 CR 13950, Paris. The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Coston, the son of Jack & Deloris King Coston, was born Dec. 27, 1936, in the Broadway Community. He graduated from Delmar High School in 1955, and received his Master’s degree from Sam Houston State University. Joe Ben worked as an agricultural educator for many years as was also a farmer; he loved the land where he grew up. He received his American FFA degree, was an Eagle Scout and a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sweetie and Jack. Survivors include his wife, Renae Grantland Coston, children; Charlott Pickering & husband Eddie Don of Paris, Cassi Weems & husband James of Paris, Jayla Fry & husband Steven of Caldwell, Jacy Coston of the home and Lexy Coston of the home, grandchildren; Ryan and Eryn Pickering, Madison, C. J., and Levi Weems and Brook and Ava Fry along with a plethora of friends.
