Jeff David Miller

Jeff David Miller went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2023. Jeff was born on May 17, 1956 in Clifton, Texas to Harvey and Marie Miller. Jeff married the love of his life, Melissa, on September 25, 1982. Together they have three children, Gus, Codie Lynne, and Jessica.

Jeff graduated from Valley Mills High School in 1974. Jeff loved cars, motorcycles, and loved to know how things worked, solving problems, and finding ways to make machines work more efficiently. He attended Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, Texas and graduated with his associates degree in 1988. He was hired by Kimberly Clark in 1988 and started his career as a mechanical engineer. He spent 30 years at Kimberly Clark where he loved working, mentoring new engineers, and working alongside some of the best friends of his life. He retired in 2018 and spent the last years of his life alongside his wife, playing with his grandkids, and “piddling” in his shop.

Jeff was welcomed into the arms of multiple family members including grandparents, his parents Harvey and Marie, and son Gus. He is survived by his wife Melissa of Paris, sister Carolyn Miller of Brazil, sister Donna Roton of Austin, daughter Codie Dreher and son-in-law Deric, daughter Jessica Alsip and son-in-law Chris, four grandchildren David, Corbin, Harper, and Sophia, and countless other family and friends. He will be sorely missed by his loved ones who intend to carry on his mission of leaving things better than they found them.

The family will be planning a celebration of life at a later date. We look forward to celebrating Jeff’s life and sharing stories with you all.

Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
