A family directed memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 PM Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Saving Grace Ministries, 901 N.W. 19th, Paris, Texas. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Mr. Thompson, the son of Gene Don Thompson, Sr. and Virginia Watson Thompson, was born Aug. 30, 1959, in Paris, Texas.
His career at the Campbell Soup Company spanned 44 years before his retirement.
His father and his brother, Arthur Thompson, preceded him in death. Survivors include four sons, Gene Don Thompson III (Jamie), Sean Thompson (Kelly), Jeffrey Thompson (Sandy), and Christian Thompson (Amber), two grandchildren, Mia Thompson and Yumi Thompson, his mother, Virginia Thompson, and a sister, Regina Henley along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
