Frances Elaine Nation, 54, of Brookston, passed away Thursday, April 02, 2015, at her home while surrounded by her family. Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 6th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Monday at Highland Cemetery, 1620 Cemetery Rd., Durant, OK 74701. Frances, the daughter of Earlin Homer & Betty Dene Cogdell Wilson, was born April 4, 1960, in Asmara, Africa. She received her degree as an LVN from Howard College in San Angelo. For a number of years she worked at healthcare centers in the San Angelo before moving to Lamar County. Here she worked at Parkview, Paris Healthcare Center and Brentwood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Her career as an LVN spanned twenty-six years. She had a passion for helping and serving the elderly. The ones she cared for were her extended family, and she would spend much of her time off at the facility helping them. Her father and one sister, Linda Porter, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of twenty-three years, Bill Nation, children, Michele Swint, Jack Pruitt, Kacie Pruitt and Stephanie Nation, grandsons, Alec, Tristan, Levi, Jack, Jr., Hayden, Rancie, Colt and Myles, her mother, Betty Wilson, siblings, Keith Wilson, Becky Wells, Debra Moss, Wesley Wilson and Richard Wilson along with numerous nieces & nephews and a plethora of friends.
