Stephen T. Farrell, 72, passed away on Wednesday September 26th after a brave battle with cancer. Stephen was born on February 16, 1946 in Patterson, NJ. He grew up in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ and later settled in Westwood, NJ. He married Marilyn Folgner Farrell in Newport Beach, CA in 1972. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Marilyn of Westwood; his son, Kyle Farrell and his wife Melissa of Boston, MA and their children, Gianna and Nicholas; his daughter Brittany Cool and her husband, Bobby of Little Falls, NJ and their son, Riley. He is also survived by his sister Pat Ross and brother Donald Farrell and their families.
Stephen studied accounting at Liecester Junior College in Massachusetts and later worked as Chief Operating Officer and co-owner of the family business, Faber Cement Block Company in Paramus. He was a proud member of the Paramus Rotary Club, in which he attended without absence for 34 years. He loved spending time in Saddle River, Atlantic City, Maine and the Jersey Shore. He was also a diehard Yankees Fan.
The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, September 30th at Old Paramus Reform Church - 660 E. Glen Ave, Ridgewood, NJ at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Old Paramus Reformed Church or the Paramus Rotary Foundation.
