Wayne K. Stevens

Papillion, NE. Wayne served in the USAF from 1955-1959. He worked for the telephone company from 1960 to 1990. After retiring, he worked for Platteview Country Club Golf Course from 1990 to 2008. Wayne and Mary Ann would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 9, 2012.

He was an avid reader, enjoyed country music, Husker football, boating at the lake, Omaha Lancer Hockey with his wife and grandsons, and especially spending time with family and friends.

Preceded in death by Parents: Ralph & Lottie. Sister & Brother in Law: Liz & Ike Failor. Brother in Law: Bernard Burgess. Nephew: Larry Stevens. Niece: Debbie Burgess.

Survived By Wife: Mary Ann. Daughters: Brenda & Jeff Reveillac, Des Moines, IA. Sandi & Robert Watson, Lincoln, NE. Grandsons: Cleve & Caleb Watson. Sisters: Ruth Burgess, Alliance, NE., Joan & Loren Sutton, Bowling Green, MO. Brothers: Bill & Pauline Stevens, Ashby, NE., Jack & Norma Jean Stevens, Rapid City, SD. Many Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services: Saturday, Feb. 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 8100 Giles Road, LaVista. Family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 10 at Mortuary from 5-8 pm. with a Masonic Service by Plattsmouth Lodge #6 A.F.& A.M. at 7:00 p.m.
