After graduating in 1964 from the Oconto Falls High School, Bob joined the United States Air Force. After nine years of military service, he worked for the US Postal Office for the next 27 years. He enjoyed a long 21 year retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters, Tracy (Donovan) Cooper, Christina (Jon) Towne, and Michelle (Dustan) Huber; son, Robert Jr. (Lynette) Morrell; step-daughter, Annie (Tyler) Hann; step-son, Joe (Leah) Weber. He found the “gold” in his golden years to be his 12 grandchildren: Chanessey “Boo,” Brody, Gage, CJ, Skyler, Kimberly, Candace, Gracelynn, Maya, Eliana, Greyson and Maci and one great-granddaughter, Lila. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion, NE from 3:00-5:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held at First Lutheran Church in Papillion on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 10:00 am.
Interment with military honors will be held Monday, March 3, 2025 at 1:30 pm at the Omaha National Cemetery.
Memorials will be directed by the family.
