my dad and harlan were army buddys in 42-43 at hondo and many fun imes have been talked about,sorry to hear he and millie are both past,do remember back in the 60s we stopped by at the farm for afternoon so dad and harlan could reminess,wish hwe was still here as we wre taking dad to hondo for airshow in may,dad would of like to pick him up on way down,dont know if we could of left the two of them alone though, our thought are with u,family of robert f page sac city ia

What a nice looking man your father was.  Now I know where you got your good looks!.  I truly enjoyed the video and the pictures.  Your father sounds like a great human being and I would have enjoyed visiting with him.  I know he was a WWII veteran so he holds a special place in my heart.  Those men and women truly were the Greatest Generation.  I get filled with such a sense of pride for our country when I think of what they went through and the sacrificies they made.  I know, from personal experience, that this will be a difficult time for you and your family.  My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.  One of my most fond memories was staying the night on the farm with Erinn and friends in grade school.  Memories always stay with us.

I worked for Harlan and Mildred as a handyman, preforming a few repairs for them over the past ten years.  They were a great pair to draw to.  Harlan was a talker and had many great stories, but he did tell me how much he missed Mildred after her passing.  May they Rest in Peace together.

I met Harlan many years ago while doing the Otte family genealogy and enjoyed my visit.

My sincere condolences to the Otte family. Both your Mom and Dad were 4-H friends. I pray your wonderful memories will keep them in your hearts forever.

We met Harlan at Brookstone Village. He was always fun to talk to and had good information about the Omaha area. Both Harlan and our father served in the military during WW2. 
The days can seem long if not for friends + family making an effort to visit. His friend Lorraine faithfully came to see Harlan every day and we enjoyed their company. We will miss seeing both of them.
