Vince was a longtime resident of Paoli, PA. He was born on September 28, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA to Silvio and Elvira Piotti. He graduated from St. Thomas More Catholic High School in 1967 and continued his education graduating from Spring Garden College with a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and went on to Drexel University graduating with a Master's degree in finance. Vince began his career at Delmarva Power & Light as an analyst for 15 years and then spent 35 years at Merrill Lynch as a trusted financial consultant where he became the Senior Vice President of Wealth Management.
Vince had many interests and hobbies, first and foremost - family. In his down time, he devoted himself to Boy Scout Troop 181 of Paoli for 35 years. He was an advancement chairman focused on elevating scouts to the rank of Eagle Scout. His love of cars and racing started young and was passed down from his father and older brothers. He also had a passion for photography, especially photographing the beauty and history of Chester County. Vince valued his Italian heritage and was a member of Il Circolo of the Main Line.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silvio and Elvira and his brothers, Sylvester, James and Lawrence.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Linda (McGuigan) Piotti, his son, Vincent (Kathryn), his daughter, Christina (Robert) and he was a loving Pop-pop to Luca and Cora. He is also survived by two sisters (Fran and Marie) and one brother (Fred).
Friends and relatives are invited to his visitation on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at Alleva Funeral Home, 1724 E. Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA 19301. Visitation will resume on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 9:00am at St. Norberts Church, 6 Greenlawn Road, Paoli, PA 19301 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
