On June 26th, 2020, our loving mom, Ruth Booth Myers, passed away peacefully into heaven following a beautiful double rainbow silhouetted in the sky. Born April 21st, 1928, Ruth lived with her beloved mother, Ruth O’Neil Booth, before marrying Robert M. Myers and having two children; Christina Ruth (Stinkweed), and Robert Madison Jr. (Monk). Our mom then became “Oma” to five beautiful grandchildren; Gerrit Lee (G.L.), Kurt Robert (Kurtie), Robert Madison the 3rd (Sweet boy), Erin Elizabeth (Sweet Pea), and Andrew Robert (Drewster)
Family was everything to mom. We all remember holidays together and summers at Ocean City, New Jersey. It was our mom’s special place. Mom lived at Wellington Hall in West Chester, Pennsylvania during the later years of her life. She spent every day making her many friends and staff members laugh. She was a character you could not forget.
We miss our mom, our Oma, our brave little peanut with all our hearts. As we reflect back on her 92 years, we realize even more how she touched each of us in her own special way.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, Pennsylvania. She will be laid to rest with our dad, her loving husband and United States Air Force Veteran.
